Alexa is a popular American singer and the songwriter. She is the daughter of songwriter Billy Joel and model Christie Brinkley. Joel was born in New York and has been influenced by her parents' fascination with fashion and music. When she was 19 years old Joel joined her first musical group. Her debut live show was held at Maxwell's Hoboken New Jersey. Within just a couple of short years, she would become one of today's most popular stars. In the year 2006, Joel put out her debut extended play Sketches. It was released by Audio Bee, which helped Joel gain a solid foundation in the world of music.
